MODULAR5 B.V. ("MODULAR5", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit this website, contact us or sign up for our newsletter, why we do so and what your rights are.

Which data we process

Contact details you give us when you email or call us, such as your name, company, job title, email address and phone number, and the content of your message.
The details you enter in our contact form: company name, first and last name, email address, phone number and your message.
The details you enter in the request form for a Potential & Feasibility Study: company, name, email address and, if you fill them in, your role, phone number and question.
If you sign up for our newsletter: your first name and email address, and the date, time, page and IP address of your signup.
Technical data about your visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view. We only use analytics cookies after you have given your consent in the cookie banner.

Why we process your data

To answer your question or request and to send you the information you asked for.
To send you our newsletter, if you signed up for it or if you are one of our business contacts.
To protect our forms against spam and abuse.
To prepare and carry out our services if you become a client.
To improve our website, based on aggregated statistics.

We process your data on the basis of your consent (for example for the newsletter and for analytics cookies), our legitimate interest in answering questions, keeping our business contacts informed, protecting our website and doing business, or the performance of a contract.

Contact and request forms

When you send one of our forms, your message is emailed to info@modular5.com. A copy is also stored in the administration of this website, so that no request gets lost.

We send our newsletter to people who signed up for it on this website and to business contacts we are in touch with, such as clients and partners. We send it with Laposta (Laposta B.V., Zutphen, the Netherlands), which processes your data on our behalf. Laposta tells us whether a newsletter was opened and which links were clicked, so that we can improve it. Every newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing info@modular5.com. After you unsubscribe, we only keep your email address to make sure you no longer receive the newsletter.

Spam protection

Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which checks whether a form is filled in by a person and not by a bot. To do so, Google processes data such as your IP address and information about your browser and how you use the page, and it may place a cookie for this purpose. reCAPTCHA is only loaded on pages with a contact form, and for the newsletter form only once you start filling it in. The Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Cookies

This website uses functional cookies that are needed for the site to work, such as remembering your cookie choice. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only placed after you give consent. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie Settings at the bottom of every page.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with parties that help us run this website and our business: our hosting provider, our email provider, Laposta for the newsletter and Google for spam protection and, only with your consent, for website statistics. Our hosting provider, email provider and Laposta only process your data on our behalf. For reCAPTCHA and YouTube, the privacy policy of Google also applies.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data no longer than necessary for the purposes above, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to receive your data in a portable format. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@modular5.com. If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Links and videos

This website links to LinkedIn and YouTube. Some pages show videos from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); when you play a video, YouTube (Google) may collect data about it. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.
